With several firsts to its credit, IIM Visakhapatnam is being described by many as a precocious child, much ahead of its time! As we embark on the ambitious journey of attaining the standards of global excellence, we are well-poised to contributing to the exciting growth story of ‘New India’, through management education and research programs that are not only exacting in rigour and relevance, but are also current with context and contemporary in content.

IIM Visakhapatnam: Leadership in Management Development and Entrepreneurship
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIM Visakhapatnam) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools. It is a new-generation IIM, established by the Government of India in September 2015. The Indian Institutes of Management Act, 2017 declares IIMs as Institutions of National Importance, empowered to attain standards of global excellence in management, management research, and allied areas of knowledge. Continuing its journey of steady progress and growth since its inception, IIM Visakhapatnam has already carved out a niche for itself among the IIMs, crossing several milestones and maintaining a distinct lead in:
